Jonathan Sherrill was raised in the mystic landscape of Sedona, Arizona, where his imaginative relationship with music developed into the professional artistry he carries today. A performer of over twenty six years, Jonathan trained under Grammy Award–winning classical guitarist Evan Hirschelman and graduated from Musicians Institute with a degree in Music and Audio Engineering.

 

His career spans touring with major and regional acts, extensive studio work, and performances ranging from Off-Broadway productions in New York to commercial scoring. Jonathan has composed over 500 songs for advertising, documentaries, and film, including campaigns for major brands such as Nikki & Ford. He continues to collaborate across television, independent cinema, and long-form projects as both a composer and co-writer.

 

As a performer, Jonathan blends flawless guitar technique with emotionally driven songwriting, drawing from indie, blues, rock, folk, gypsy jazz, psychedelic, flamenco, and modern hybrid styles. His voice, stage presence, and musicianship create an immersive live experience that has captivated audiences in venues of every scale — from intimate living rooms and wineries to theaters and large stages.
